Definitely a great place to do your boat license. There's a lot to learn when it comes to being in the water and the course managed to keep it relevant to the exam.

John provided excellent, clear, and educational information to me, my 17-year-old son (who had no prior knowledge of the sea), and the entire class. Even though my English isn't great, I understood everything. John was a fantastic instructor; extremely experienced, professional, and skilled at making the lesson both enjoyable and effective. He ensured we all thoroughly understood the content, and as a result, all participants successfully obtained their marine and jet ski licenses. I highly recommend him! Thanks again, John!

John (teacher) was a very impressive individual. I was amazed by his experience and willingness to share his amazing adventures. I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher and I was quite nervous about sitting an exam again but he made it fun and put my mind at ease. I didn’t ace the exam like he wanted us to but I sure walked away with a healthy appreciation of what is expected from me as a master of my vessel! Thanks so much John you’re the Indiana Jones’s of the ocean!

Fantastic school. The explanations were clear, many fellow students graduated with great scores, and there was a strong emphasis on important water safety instructions with practical examples.

I only wish we could have heard more about John’s experiences on the water! We had to stay focused on the study material🤣, but the few stories John shared during the lessons were fascinating. If there’s a chance to attend one of John’s talks in the future, I’d love to be there.

It was a really professional, friendly, and informative session. John(my instructor) was incredibly knowledgeable in boating rules and was a wonderful teacher, doing everything he could to make sure we passed the test. I’d recommend the course to anyone interested in a marine license.

Done my Boat and Pwc licence last night with John was so informative and ran a great class everyone passed because thats how good he is at this i highly recommended anyone wishing to get there Boat licence to do it with John 100/10

The 3.5 hour course was professionally run, informative and enjoyable. The attendees ranged from 12yo to 70yo’s so a diverse age group. John ensured there was plenty of interaction with the students and the short videos ensured a good understanding of requirements was obtained. I would highly recommend this course for anyone looking to get a marine licence.

John did a great job of making a late night with a fourteen year old as enjoyable, engaging and - above all - productive as it could have possibly been. Two new holders of Marine Licenses, neither of which could recommend this course enough.

Excellent course! As a foreigner, I was worried whether I could understand the course, but John was responsible, his pronunciation was very clear and he was very friendly to foreigners like me. I recommend this school to anyone who wants to get this driver's license!

We’ve had the pleasure of learning with John at Boat School across three generations of our family. My wife and I completed our training years ago, followed by our eldest son, and just last night, our two daughters finished with flying colours.

The class is well-structured, making the test easy. In my opinion, the real value lies in how it teaches trickier concepts in a way that stays with you long-term.

Boatschool, my second time being taught by John, the course is perfectly taught with all the information needed to pass the assessment. A nice relaxed and informative session left me feeling very confident to pass the test and more importantly to feel positive about getting back on the water. Great advice to take your own notes during the training as it's a closed book test at the end. Hopefully I don't let my licence elapse again.

john was an amazing teacher. he breaks down the complex content into ways that are easy to remember and understand. john also answered any questions extremely thoroughly. he teaches you exactly what you need to know for the test and he made it very easy to go into the test feeling confident. john is extremely knowledgeable about everything he speaks about, and he keeps the class fun and entertaining, while also ensuring people in the class take on what he is saying. thank you john!
